Player Testimonials

Everyone has a different story about how they came to AFL Masters football.
Read our testimonials below.
``I joined the AFL Masters a few years ago after my wife nominated me to play AFL 9's (without me knowing by the way!) I had no previous AFL experience, but it was evident from day one the Master were all about ``Footy for Fun.``

Craig Sunderland

Hunter Hornets, NSW

``I love AFL Masters at this stage of my life, because family and job commitments take up a lot of my time but Masters allows me to fit in a bit of a kick and a run around when I can, without feeling obligated to train each week or turn up to every game.``

Elaine Turner

Murray Crays, ACT

``I love the social aspect of AFL Masters. Having a couple of beers and a steak sanga after the game is my idea of a holistic fitness program!!``

Pete Hugh

Ballarat Diggers, Country VIC

``My skills have improved since playing AFL Masters. I am still not always 100% confident on the rules, but every now and again I manage to shank a kick through the big sticks at either end of the ground, and my team mates run around me for high-fives so I guess I have a basic concept of the game!``
